The Art of EmbroideryA Tradition of Excellence

For over thirty years, I have been dedicated to keeping the tradition of gold and silk embroidery alive, creating works that unite historical techniques with a contemporary vision.

My Journey

Hello everyone, I'm Giuliana. I was born in Sardinia, in Baressa, a small town of about 700 inhabitants in the province of Oristano. This village is particularly known for its almond groves, which inspired the almond festival and market fair, where you can witness the preparation and tasting of traditional breads and sweets made with almonds.

I live in Orroli, a town of about 1,900 inhabitants in the province of South Sardinia, located in the historical sub-region of Sarcidano. Orroli's territory is home to the Nuraghe Arrubiu, the largest and most complex nuraghe on my island, and two dams that form the lakes of Flumendosa and Mulargia. The nuraghi are among the most significant protohistoric monuments in all of Western Europe.

My Studio

My Studio

Orroli gifted me this wonderful art, which was passed down to me through the teachings of Rosina Vargiu, my mother-in-law. My passion, combined with a good dose of patience, turned it from a hobby into a profession that I've enriched over time. Throughout the years, this very passion has led me to reach levels that are more than satisfying for me.

Today, after 30 years of experience in this field, I want to share and show everyone my work, which I will try to present to you in detail on this site. Enjoy viewing!
